secure password

It's not easy to remember your passwords, and we use more apps, sites, and devices these days so that there are a number of passwords that you need to remember now. When you change a new password or an old password, you can see what 10 things you should never forget.

It's not safe

To make life simpler and to remember passwords easily, we sometimes store password-related information someplace. While it helps us on the one hand from forgetfulness, many say that on the other hand it is not practically good and is not safe.

The basis you need to remember

You can always save your passwords or save them as a reference to an app like Evernot, but this too can cause you some personal trouble. However, let's see what are the basics you need to remember when you set a new password.

#1

Do not use the same password on multiple sites. If someone manages to hack one of your accounts, they will try to use the same password in other accounts.

#2

Do not use names as passwords. Especially the names of your parents, siblings, partners or pets. Avoid using the brand name of your car as well. These are very easy to learn and find.

#3

Never use PIN numbers of credit/debit cards as passwords. Similarly, do not use your telephone numbers.

#4

Do not use birthday and year dates as passwords.

#5

Avoid using serial numbers such as passport numbers or PAN card numbers as passwords.

#6

Don't reuse the old password. Most sites do not accept the password used now, but some sites allow the oldest password, avoid this altogether. You can view lists of expired passwords on the Dark Web or hacker databases.

#7

Don't save your passwords online in any form, don't even save in the email draft box. You can manually write or save it on your device that is not connected to the Internet, but even then you can

#8

Browsers like Google Chrome come with a password storage option. This feature is very helpful, but it is recommended that you avoid it. If you misaccess a malicious website, this can affect all your saved passwords.

#9

Use two-factor authentication where available.

#10

Try changing your passwords every few months to make sure you are safe. It's a tough job, but it will certainly provide you with protection.
