Elon Musk has announced that Tesla is developing humanoid robots.
Named Teslabot, the humanoid robots are made using software and hardware in the company's automated cars. Elon Musk said the robots, based on artificial intelligence technology and moving like humans, will use cameras, sensors, and neural networks in Tesla cars.
It has been reported that these robots are being manufactured to suit humans to perform unsafe tasks and repeated tasks.
Elon Musk said, "We are designing a 5-foot, 8-inch-tall, 125-pound humanoid robot. We are also creating it to be friendly with human beings. The model will come out in the next few years. The robot will walk at a speed of 5 miles per hour. It will also carry 45 pounds."Musk also revealed that the robot has a screen on its face.
