Nasa tested for the first time last May a plan to send humans into space through a private company. Nasa's Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley took to the skies. They carried out various research at the Space Research Center and returned to Earth in August with Space X's Dragon Capsule.
Exactly 9 years later, for the first time, a rocket carrying humans from American soil went into space. Nasa expressed confidence that the participation of many private space companies in the space sector would increase in the coming years after the project was successful through private company SpaceX.

First private company to send humans to space
SpaceX, owned by Elon Musk, became the first private company to send humans to space for the first time. Earlier humans were sent to space by Russia's Soyuz spacecraft. The company charged about Rs 600 crore per seat. In order to reduce this cost, NASA planned to launch humans through a private company.
