Twitter has introduced a new facility to remove followers who follow a user on social media without their knowledge. This is why Twitter has launched a new option. Twitter has said this as 'Soft Block'.
Click on three dots next to the name of the followers profile > you can soft block the follower if you choose 'Remove this Follower' in the option given there.
This is quite different from blocking a follower. Private Tweet can only be viewed by your followers.
Twitter has also decided to come up with some more instruction option. Twitter is currently conducting its test. Twitter expects users to avoid unwanted conversations.
