China's most popular automobile company, WULING HONG GUANG, has launched a new electric car called Wuling Nano EV at The Tianjin International Auto Show recently. The company said it would be more suitable for urban use. The car is less than 3 meters long and is equipped with only 2 seats. The height of Wuling Nano EV is 2,497 mm, the width is 1,526 mm and the height is 1,616 meters. The Chinese electric car is smaller in appearance than Tata's Nano due to such low sizes.
Wuling Nano EV is expected to not only be the smallest electric car in the world, but also the cheapest electric car. It has been revealed that the car will cost Rs 2 lakh 30,000 in Indian value. This price is lower than Maruti Alto sold with fuel engine in the Indian market.
